1 day Drone Alp - Italy & Switzerland
Service Description
Enjoy this fabulous 1 day hike from La Fouly in Switzerland to the Italian and Swiss border via the spectacular Val Ferret and Lake Fenetres to the Italian border at the Col Drone / Col d’en haut, and then turn left up to Drone (2861m). Enjoy views across Italy to the Mont Blanc and Mont Blanc Massif mountains. We descend a little and then go up to Tête Fenêtres (optional) and then descend to lakes and La Fouly. Bring you own backpack with lunch and water, first aid kit, passport, Swiss Francs if wished for supermarket at La Fouly, camera, waterproof jacket & trousers, sun hat & glasses, and 2 walking poles for the steep sections. You are led on this trek by an English International Mountain Leader (UK trained & qualified) and accompanied the entire way.
