Included: A day trip from Courmayeur. We meet outside Courmayeur tourist information office, go to Val Ferret, up and along balcony foot path along Italian side of Mont Blanc mountains for fabulous views. Trip includes an International Mountain Leader as a trek guide, English trained and qualified, multilingual to assist clients. Taxi / bus travel included. 3 drinks enroute at Arp Nouva Bar, Bonatti refuge & Bertone refuge. Lunch excluded. Information is provided enroute along balcony path about mountains, alpine flowers, geography and geology. The grooviest 1 day walk on the Tour Mont Blanc circuit offering fantastic views. This one day outing on the beautiful Bonatti balcony walk can be the jewel in the crown on your holiday, with an initial uphill of 250m to a horizontal pathway which ascends very gently to reach the traditional Bonatti Refuge to refresh. Stop here for refreshment, eat lunch and enjoy the views on terrace. Do this medium difficulty walk through the Italian Alps alongside the Italian Mont Blanc mountains before descending a path to Courmayeur. The uphill to ArpNouva is done in a taxi / bus from Courmayeur. The views are some of the finest on the Tour Mont Blanc. Mountains all around. Walks along the geological back thrust of the Mont Blanc and soak up the scenery. A groovy walk indeed. See Walker Point 4208m and Frébouge glacier, admire Aiguille Évêque 3258m and the Mont Blanc and Peuterey Needles...White, Black and Red. See Tete de Ferret 2714m at the head of the valley at Swiss frontier above La Fouly where the Cols Grand & Petit Ferret allow trekkers to cross from Italy to Switzerland. Excluded: All food. You can bring a picnic. You can buy lunch/snacks /cakes enroute at Arp Nouva bar, Bonatti Refuge, Bertone Refuge. Bonatti do a full lunch and a ham & cheese sandwich option too in afternoon and other cold plates. Start/End: Courmayeur town centre at main roundabout by the coffee bar next to the tourist information office and main bus & coach ticket booking office. Early start required at 07:30 to ensure transportation to top of the valley by bus or taxi. Minimum group size 2 please. Maximum group size 10.
